Would be nice to just add the torrent link and just let Sonarr do it's magic with importing, organising and hard-linking files for seeding. I have a few trackers configured which gets me 99% of all the content I need, but sometimes you are looking for that one specific version or just some really obscure show and need to grab it from another tracker which you do not bother configuring for this one-off instance. Anything else?Īnother benefit of this feature is that you could then easily download torrent files which are not present in your current configured trackers. Then do a manual file import in Sonarr and then to the renaming of tiles as they are probably not in the correct format I currently use for all my media. ![]() My current solution to this is to manually download the files through my torrent client, then SSH into the server and create hard links for all downloaded media files and add them to the Sonarr media folder. If needed it could already prompt the user for season and episode files that are supposed to be included in the torrent file. Then after finishing it can prompt for manual import such as it is already doing to detect season and episodes after downloading the files. It would be great if this could be similar to how manual search and and currently works.Į.g.: You click on your series, click to add a magnet link/torrent file download link/upload torrent file and Sonarr will automatically download the files. To solve this it would be great to have the ability to manually link/upload a torrent file for a given series. It might be that the specific torrent you are trying to add has a typo in the name, or maybe there are several spellings and Sonarr is not aware of all of them. But sometimes even manual search does not find what you are looking for. ![]() When invoking Sonarr, you can add -nobrowser (nix) or /nobrowser (Windows) to the arguments. For this we have manual search which is great. In Settings > General on some OSes, there is a checkbox to launch the browser on startup. Sometimes automatic search does not find anything suitable.
